Artichoke Pesto and Black Forest Ham Baguette Sandwich

Ingredients

  • - 10 slices Kretschmar Black Forest Ham
  • - 5 slices Kretschmar Colby Jack Cheese
  • - 1 baguette, sliced lengthwise
  • - 1/2 cup marinated artichoke hearts, drained
  • - 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • - 2 cloves garlic, peeled
  • - 2 tbsp finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • - 3/4 cup baby spinach
  • - 1/3 cup olive oil
  • - Kosher salt, to taste

Instructions

  • 1. PREHEAT oven to 400°F and place baguette slices cut-side-down on rimmed baking sheet.
  • 2. BAKE until lightly toasted, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 3. BLEND artichoke, walnuts, garlic, Parmesan, spinach and oil in small food processor until smooth, about 30 seconds. Season with salt, to taste.
  • 4. SPREAD artichoke mixture on cut sides of baguette.
  • 5. LAYER Kretschmar Black Forest Ham and Kretschmar Colby Jack Cheese over artichoke mixture and top with remaining baguette slices.
  • 6. CUT sandwich crosswise into 4 equal pieces. Serve and enjoy.
