What is the Kretschmar Consumer Advisory Board?
The KCAB consists of individual consumers who are between the ages of 18 to 65 who have purchased Kretschmar Deli products. Each board member completes a questionnaire before becoming a member of the Advisory Board. Members agree to participate in trying a recipe or completing surveys at least once a year.
What is the purpose of the KCAB?
The KCAB exists strictly to conduct market research, the gathering of opinions for input into the development of Kretschmar products, and to gain insights on interest in programs and promotions. The opinions of board members are reported only in the aggregate. Individual opinions and identities will never be shared. The business of the KCAB is research.
Who can participate?
Individuals who are between the ages of 18 to 65 and who have been invited into KCAB may participate. Members must not have any food allergies or dietary restrictions as they might be asked to participate in the tasting of new products.
How do I join?
In order for you to be eligible to participate in KCAB, you must first be invited. You will have to complete a questionnaire that details the food consumption behavior of your household. Once this questionnaire has been completed you then become eligible to participate.
How often will members be asked to participate in a survey or taste test?
Board members will be invited to participate about 6 times each year, but never more than once a month. For each study, you'll receive an invitation by E-mail to participate.
What happens when I agree to try a recipe?
Occasionally we’ll send you a Kretschmar recipe to try. If you agree to participate, you’ll be asked to prepare the recipe for your household. After preparing and eating the recipe, you’ll be asked to complete a survey about your experience.
What happens when I agree to participate in a survey?
If you agree to participate you will be sent to an online survey, which you will then complete. The topic of the survey and survey length will vary. You will generally have one week to complete the survey before the survey becomes inactive.
How is my privacy protected?
The KCAB is a strong supporter of privacy. Please click on the "Privacy" link at this site to review our complete policy on participant privacy.
